Friends of Crex / Crex Meadows
At 30,000 acres, Crex is the largest state-owned wildlife area in Wisconsin. It is home to 270 species of birds and 600 species of plants. A wide variety of mammals, reptiles, amphibians and insects also reside here. Crex Meadows offers wildlife education programs, displays, auto tours, hiking and biking trails. The “Bog Shoe Gift Shop” is available at the visitor center.
