World Championship Snowmobile Watercross
2010 marked the 34th Annual Watercross in Grantsburg. It is hosted by the Grantsburg Hockey Association and draws thousands of people to Grantsburg. It is held the 3rd weekend in July (Friday – Sunday). Activities include:
- IWA Drag Heats
- East-West Challenge
- Vintage & Youth Snowmobile Racing
- Street Dances
- Wrist Wrestling Tournament
- Fireworks – The BEST Show Around!
- Pancake Breakfasts
- Kiddie Play Land
- Concessions
Visitors often camp at Memory Lake Park and the Grantsburg Fairgrounds. Shuttles are available from the fairgrounds and from area bars.
