Grantoberfest is a fun fall festival held at the Grantsburg Fairgrounds on Hwy 87 which was created as a way to showcase what Grantsburg has to offer. Our next Grantoberfest will be Saturday, September 17, 2011! As always, there will be lots to do and FREE TO ATTEND!

Start planning!

Wiener dog races! Do you have a wiener dog? Or maybe a wienie-wannabe (any breed of dog, under 25 pounds). This is one of the most popular events at Grantoberfest – don’t miss it! Sponsored by Grantsburg Animal Hospital. Entry forms are posted here. If you have questions, contact Bridget at 715-463-2536.

Scarecrow Decorating Contest: Bring your decorated scarecrow to the Chamber Info Booth between 8:30 and 10am to enter. Judging will be at 10:30 am. Prizes include ribbons and gift certificates for a free personal pan pizza from Holiday. One winner will be announced for each category: scariest, most realistic and most creative.

New this year: so far, for new events, we have a rock climbing wall and a big screen TV with Xbox 360 and Rockband! This is provided by the National Guard. We will also have a dunk tank sponsored by the Grantsburg Hockey Association. Many more vendors with lots of activities and goodies as well!
